statement

My theme of creation is memory and recording and in recent years I’m interested in the concept of archive. I’m interested in video that has reproducible characteristics and enable me to clip and preserve the moment from the actual timeline, Using these characteristics, I have been attempting to overlap two different timelines in my installations −past and present−. Showing the two different timelines of the videos and actual space, I attempt to arise the sense of a lively moment in my installation. By doing these practices, I’m pursuing my interest: Memory and recording. I employ video, installation, photography, sketching or writing in order to keep something from vanishing.
